31.05.2012 - New product family announced at Optatec

Dr. Bankmann announced a probably revolutionary new series of products at the Optatec 2012: Calotte segments with something special.

sigma-physik presented a working model of a calotte with substrate shutters, which are remote controlled and battery powered, able to cover individual substrate holders, which will allow completely new ways in coating production.

Developed in cooperation with Leica Microsystems CMS GmbH in Wetzlar, our team hopes to introduce the first market-ready product in the next few months.

Updates about the shutter calotte, but also about additional innovative products will be posted on our website.

25.05.2012 - Optatec 2012 was a huge success

The leading exhibition of the optics industry ended today and sigma-physik would like to thank all visitors of our booth.

We were very happy not only about the enormous interest in our new innovations but also in the established product line.

30.03.2012 - sigma-physik at the Optatec 2012

The Optatec 2012 opens on May 22th in Frankfurt, Germany and sigma-physik is pleased to take part in it.

We are going to showcase a fully functional SIG-500SP so our visitors may get an impression on the precision and usability of our ex-situ device.

But there will be a lot more, so plan a visit at our booth. It is going to be exiting!

26.05.2011 - Lecture at EFDS Workshop

Dr. Joachim Bankmann will give a presentation at the EFDS (European Society of Thin Films) Workshop "Reliability and durability of solar modules- Requirements for quality assurance" in Dresden on June 13th. The area of mechanical stresses und their repercussions on the photovoltaic industry will be covered under the title "Intrinsic and thermal stresses of thin films in the photovoltaic- Requirements for development and quality assurance".

16.05.2011 - Relaunch of the sigma-physik website

In preparation towards the Hannover Messe 2011 our corparate design has received a face lift. Now our web presence has been redesigned accordingly.

The team of sigma-physik is pleased about a successful week at the Hannover Messe 2011. We had many interesting discussions and we were able to make great new contacts.

08.04.2011 - sigma-physik in local newspaper

In today's issue of the Göttinger Tageblatt a report about sigma-physik and its founder Dr. Joachim Bankmann was published.
It dealt about our booth on the yearly exhibition, our field of business and our plans to enter the market of the photovoltaic and LED industry.

The report completed the second appearance of sigma-physik at the largest industrial and trade fair successfully.

18.02.2011 - sigma-physik at the Hannover Messe 2011

Metrology company sigma-physik will attend the Hannover Messe 2011 and is pleased to present their products at the Niedersachsen pavilion.

Apart from detailed information about our products we are also presenting a glimpse at future developments of our measurement systems.

30.09.2010 - Successful completion of the DiskModul project

Initiated by Innonet, the project "DiskModul" - Innovative Disklaser-Module was completed successfully.
Our company sigma-physik was providing the metrology for the develpoment of the thin filmsystems necessary within the project.
The objective of the initiative was to redesign and optimize the production processes of disc lasers in order to get the hightest quality on a stable, reliable basis.
